homeowner apps

Today’s digital world means that we have a lot of resources right at our fingertips. Mobile apps help us organize our busy lives and are readily available on our cellphones. The chores of being a homeowner or renter are endless. However, just like anything else in our lives, apps are here to make things just a bit easier. These three apps are some of the most useful ones available on the market and are sure to become new favorites.

1. Encircle

Encircle app for homeowners and renters

This app is a valuable tool in documenting your belongings. If the unthinkable were to occur, such as fire or burglary, you will need an inventory of your possessions. Unfortunately, a lot of people procrastinate when they activate their homeowner’s and renter’s policies, and will be doomed to receive the policy minimums if they aren’t able to prove documentation of their belongings. Anyone with a smartphone or tablet are able to inventory their homes easily. You can take pictures of items, store serial numbers and receipts, and even easily export the information as a spreadsheet with the push of a button. Luckily Encircle is available for both Android and iOS.
